Description

Kemball House is a timber-framed and plastered building, likely dating from the 16th century but with an 18th-century facade. A wing extends to the north-east onto Butchers Lane. The building features a carriage entrance at the south-west end and a jettied upper storey supported by exposed joists. Some original timber framing is visible. The south facade facing Broad Street has two storeys and originally two window bays. It incorporates double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, and a small, more recent window on the ground storey. The roof is tiled.
