Description

The White Hart Inn is a timber-framed and plastered building located on the south side of Broad Street, Boxford. It features cross wings at the north and south ends. The south wing originates from the medieval period, while the rest of the building dates to the 16th and 17th centuries. The roof is tiled and has a large ridge chimney stack. Most windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars. A modern canopy extends across the ground storey, spanning between the cross wings. The interior is characterised by heavy, exposed ceiling beams and joists.
