Description
36 and 37 Market Hill are two buildings dating from 1692, located on the south side of Market Hill. They are likely from the 18th century and have been altered over time. The buildings are two stories tall with an attic and feature three windows. They have a slate roof with two dormers. The sash windows now have central glazing bars only and include jalousies. The exterior is finished in stucco, which is lined and painted, and there is a cornice below the parapet. The shop front is made of wood and is supported by nymph and satyr consoles. The entrance features a six-panel door. These buildings are part of a group of listed structures on Market Hill.
