Description

Elizals Cottage is a 16th to 17th century timber-framed and plastered house located at Harest Hill in Hartest. It features a cross wing at the south-east end, with the gable of this wing projecting slightly on shaped brackets. The cottage has two storeys and includes 20th century casement windows. A large external chimney stack is situated at the south-east end, characterized by tabled offsets and modern shafts. The roof is thatched.
