Description

Louies Cottage is a 16th to 17th century timber-framed and plastered house located in Stoke by Nayland, on Tye Road. It features a cross wing at the north-west end, with the front displaying renewed patterned pargetted panels. The cottage has two storeys, and the cross wing jetties out on the upper storey. It includes small casement windows and boarded doors. The roof is thatched and has a central chimney stack with adjoining shafts.
