Description

This is a small, 18th-century timber-framed and plastered cottage located on the west side of High Street, Long Melford. It is a single-storey building with attics, featuring a three-window front with small casement windows containing glazing bars. A boarded front door is present. The roof is now covered with 20th-century tiles, though it was originally thatched, and there is an old chimney stack at the south end.
