Description

Kentwell Lodge is an early 19th-century timber-framed and plastered lodge located on the west side of High Street in Long Melford, serving as the entrance to Kentwell Hall. The building is one storey high with attics and features a three-window range on the east front, consisting of three-light casements with Gothic arched lights. The north and south ends each have a single window range, which includes ogee arched casements with Gothic lights. The lodge has a central five-panel door with ogee arched panels, surrounded by an architrave and cornice. The roof is tiled.
