Description

This is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house located on the west side of High Street, Long Melford. Originally built with a jettied upper storey, the ground storey has since been underbuilt. The house was renovated and restored in 1975. It is two storeys high, with a three-window front. The windows are small casements with leaded lights, dating from the 1975 restoration. A modern gabled porch projects from the front of the building. The roof is tiled, with a central chimney stack.
