Description

Perseverance House is an early 19th-century building located on the west side of Lavenham High Street. The front features a white brick facade with pilasters and a slate roof, topped with a paired modillion eaves cornice. The building is two storeys high and has a two-window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The upper windows are fitted with louvred shutters, while the ground floor includes two splayed bays. At the rear, there is a red brick wing, which may be older than the front, also with a slate roof. This wing boasts a notable Greek Doric porch, complete with fluted columns and a cornice.
