This is a timber-framed and plastered building dating from the 16th to 17th centuries, located on Lavenham High Street and adjoining number 61 to the north, but with a higher eaves level. The roof is tiled. The building has been renovated, with the original timber framing exposed on the front. It is two storeys high and has a three-window front with casement windows, some of which retain glazing bars. An original window has been blocked up on the upper storey. An old chimney stack with two diagonal shafts is located at the north end, and an external chimney stack at the south end.
