The Post Office and the adjoining house is an early 19th-century building that features a timber frame and plaster exterior, topped with a slate roof. It stands two storeys tall. The ground floor is faced with stucco and has a rusticated appearance, complete with a cornice. On the upper storey, there is a range of five modern casement windows that have replaced the original sash windows. The ground floor includes two double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, as well as an early 19th-century double shop front, which also features glazing bars and fluted Ionic pilasters.
