Description

The Post Office is a post office and house from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick with stucco dressings and features a gabled slate roof with stacks. The front has two bays and two storeys. There is an off-centre half-glazed panelled door with an overlight, which is flanked by wooden pilasters. Beyond the door are single bowed glazing bar shop windows, topped by a narrow hood supported by two additional wooden pilasters. To the left of the door is a single fixed glazing bar window. On the first floor, there are two glazing bar windows with horizontally hinged upper casements, which have splayed stucco lintels.
