Description
This roadside shelter was built in 1866 and is made of red brick with an ashlar plaque and a pantiled gabled roof. It is a single-storey structure with a two-bay front. The front features two four-centred brick arches that are supported by a central round brick pillar. The arches have dentillated decoration at the tops and moulded brick imposts. Between the arch heads, there is a weathered stone tablet, with only the date 1866 still legible. At the rear, a timber verged roof extends into the garden, and the end walls of the shelter have brick pilasters and a stepped gable course. This building is included for its group value only.
