Description
Grange Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in 1756, with 19th-century additions. It is constructed of brick with stucco dressings and features a pantiled roof with overhanging gables and three gable stacks, forming an L-shape. The front has six bays, originally five, with the right-hand bay being a 19th-century addition. The building has two storeys plus garrets. There is an off-centre half-glazed door set in an early 19th-century wooden surround, flanked on the left by two glazing bar sash windows and on the right by three similar windows. Above the door, there is a datestone inscribed with "E. W. (Weston) 1756." On the first floor, there are six glazing bar sash windows, all featuring segmental heads with splayed stucco lintels. The interior retains shutters on the front windows.
