Description

A 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house with cross wings at the east and west ends. The upper storey is jettied across the whole front, although the east cross wing has been extended outwards with a modern shop front. The building has two storeys and a 2:2:2 window arrangement, featuring mainly double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The roof is tiled, using old tiles, and includes a large square central chimney stack.
