Description

Bures Baptist Church is a red brick building with a grey gault brick front, built in 1835. It is set back from the road and has a small Sunday school of similar date on the north-east side. The front features pilasters that rise through two storeys, each with moulded caps and bases. There are three windows, which are casements with semi-circular arched heads and rusticated voussoirs. The central window is larger and has rustications on the reveals as well. The building includes three doorways, each with cornice hoods supported by console brackets; the central doorway is larger and double. The roof is slate.
