Description

Chapel Cottages is a range of 18th century timber-framed and plastered cottages located on the south-east side of High Street in Bures St Mary. The cottages are built in two blocks, each with one storey and attics. The south-west block features three windows and two doorways, while the north-east block has two windows and a central boarded door. The windows are 19th century double-hung sashes with single vertical glazing bars. The roofs are tiled, with three sloping roofed dormers on the south-west block and two gabled dormers on the north-east block, all fitted with casements.
