Description

Nos 1 and 2 Grove Road is a 17th century timber-frame house that has been converted into two cottages. The exterior is rendered, and it features a steep roof covered with both peg tiles and pantiles, which has gabled ends. There is a brick chimney stack that is positioned off centre. The building has two storeys and an attic, with attic windows located in the end gables. The windows are modern casements, and there are also glazed doors. At the rear of No 1, there is an early 19th century wing.
