Description

The Red House is a late 18th century building located on Brockdish Grove Road. It is constructed of red brick and features a black glazed pantile roof with stone coping at the gable ends. The house is two storeys high and has five bays. The windows are sashes with glazing bars set in exposed casings, topped with flat brick arches. The central entrance has a doorcase with a moulded architrave and a pediment supported by console brackets, along with a traceried rectangular fanlight and a fielded panel door. There is a lean-to conservatory at the south end of the house.
