Description

Park Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, which was heightened and extended in 1868, as noted on the datestone. It is constructed of brick and features decorative plain tiled roofs. The building has an L-shaped plan with a service wing at the rear. Originally a single-storey structure, it has been raised to two storeys with an attic. The 19th-century windows are casement style. The central front door is topped with a cusped flat hood supported by arched braces. The roof is half-hipped and adorned with cusped fascias, barge boards, and decorative ridge tiles. There is a central gabled dormer with cusped barge boards. A single-storey side extension includes a bay window topped by a gable, with roof and fascia details that match the main building. The brickwork features moulded faces and floral designs, likely sourced from the nearby ruins of Kimberley Hall.
