Description
Mulbarton Hall is an 18th-century building with later additions, located on the south side of The Common in Mulbarton. The north facade features colour-washed brick, while the south facade is mainly rendered. The building has pantiled roofs and consists of two storeys with an attic and cellar. The original six-bay centre section has slightly advanced sash windows with wide glazing bars. A central raised and fielded panelled door is framed by an eared and pedimented doorcase with a pulvinated frieze. Above, there is a bracketed cornice with a parapet. A plain two-bay pediment rises from the parapet, which contains a small sash window.
To the sides, there are 19th-century symmetrical additions featuring plate glass sashes that maintain similar cornices. A single-storey flat-roofed bay projects from the western side addition. The south facade has five bays of 19th-century sashes and includes two single-storey canted bays. The central doorway on this facade is similar to that on the northern side. There is also a 19th-century pedimented projection to the east and a bracketed cornice with a parapet. Additionally, a conservatory is located to the east of the main building.
