Description
The premises of Norfolk Pryde Ltd. were originally a barn associated with Old Hall Farm. This building dates back to the 17th century and was extended by two bays to the west in the early 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a pantiled roof. The inhabited west end has two storeys with an attic and includes 20th-century windows fitted into the original openings, a curved gable, and the remnants of one ovolo-moulded mullion window on the north side. There are also ventilation slits in other areas.
The north facade displays a moulded brick and dentil cornice, along with shaped eaves sprockets. The roof structure consists of 23 trusses with butt purlins and collared principal rafters, with ties connecting to every other truss and straight wind braces. The inhabited end features a principal beam and first-floor door frame with stepped and nicked stops. Inside, there is a staircase with two surviving 18th-century turned balusters. The original west gable-end wall is well preserved with tuck-pointing, and there is a partly dismantled gable-end stack.
