Description
The Old Rectory Barn and Rectory Cottage are a barn and stables with a former coachman’s dwelling added to the south gable-end, dating to 1731. The barn is brick-built with pan-tiled roofs, a plain median platband, and an elaborate moulded brick cornice with large shaped dentils. It features curvilinear gables, with the date 1731 and the initials I R P appearing on the south gable tie ends. A lean-to has been added to the east. A two-storey coachman's dwelling, with an attic, was added in the 19th century, with all openings on the south gable-end set beneath segmental arches.
