Description
Paddock Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century and later. It is constructed of brick and has a pantiled roof. The building has two storeys, an attic, and a cellar. The upper floor features five original two-light mullion and transom windows with metal casements, all set beneath skew-back arches. A notable feature is the fine pedimental door hood, which has dentils and is supported by double consoles with carved scrolls. The entrance includes a later panelled door with a semi-circular fanlight. On the ground floor, there are two early 19th-century sash windows with glazing bars. The farmhouse has a moulded brick platband and bracketed eaves. The east gable-end has been rebuilt, and there are two stacks located at the rear. A Victorian canted bay window is present on the west gable-end, along with later extensions to the side and rear of the building.
