Description

Foxhole House is a former farmhouse of lobby entrance type, dating from the early 17th century and later. The original timber frame has been replaced with colour-washed brick on the front. The building stands two storeys tall, with the front door located opposite a central axial stack. On the ground floor, there are two 3-light mullion and transom windows, with the openings beneath skewback arches featuring cambered soffits. The first floor has three 2-light casements, all fitted with leaded glazing. Inside, there are five fine clasped purlin roof trusses.
