Description

The Lodge is a 17th-century cottage located on the north side of The Street in Ashwellthorpe. It features a plastered timber frame and a thatched roof with gabled ends. The building is one storey with an attic and has modern and 19th-century casement windows. There are two dormers and an off-centre brick chimney stack. A modern porch has been added, along with a one-bay brick extension on the west end, which has a thatched roof that continues over it.
