Description

The Old Post Office is a house dating from the 17th or 18th century. It features a plastered timber frame, with the front faced in red brick added in the mid-19th century. The roof is steep and covered with black-glazed pantiles, with gable ends. The west end has an early 18th-century tumbled brick gable that includes a chimney stack. The building has two storeys and three widely spaced windows, which are 19th-century three-light casements. There is also a late 19th-century porch.
