Description

Wood House is a 17th or 18th century cottage located on the north side of The Street in Ashwellthorpe. The building is plastered and features a steep pantile roof with gabled ends. It has one storey and an attic, with two casement windows and a central glazed door. There is an early 19th century plastered wing at the west end, which has a lower pitched pantile roof with gabled ends and stands two storeys tall, featuring one window with 19th century three-light casements. A brick chimney stack is situated at the junction with the later wing.
