Description
The Church of All Saints is a parish church primarily built in the 15th century. It is constructed of flint with ashlar dressings and features plain tiled and leaded roofs. The church includes a west tower, an aisleless nave with a south porch, and a chancel. The unbuttressed three-stage west tower has a canted stair turret on the south side, a two-light Perpendicular west window, two-light traceried bell-openings, and a crenellated parapet with flushwork. There are four tall three-light traceried windows added in 1854 and 1860, also in the Perpendicular style, along with two two-light Perpendicular windows in the chancel. The east window opening dates from the 15th century and features 17th or 18th-century Y-tracery. Inside, the tower arch has an elaborate hood-mould decorated with fleurons and carved label stops. The original arch-braced chancel roof includes a moulded and crenellated wall-plate with finely carved corbels supporting the wall-posts. The church also has a Victorian chancel arch, nave roof, and furnishings.
