Description

This is a house located at 88 The Street, dating from the 17th century with a 19th-century facade. It is constructed of brick and flint, with sections of colourwashed brick, and features a pantiled roof. Originally, the building was timber-framed sitting on a masonry plinth, with brick and flint gable-ends that have since been replaced with brick. The house has gable-end stacks and a steeply pitched roof. There are small windows on the side of the stack in the north gable-end at first floor level, while other windows are from the 20th century. The street facade has a blocked doorway in the center, a moulded brick gable that oversails, and shaped eaves sprockets. There is also a 20th-century extension at the rear.
