Description
Lodge Cottage, built around 1844, is located approximately 100 meters north of the Church of All Saints. It features a flint construction with gault brick dressings and a hipped thatch roof. The building has three bays and is a single storey high, with a forward semi-circular central bay that has a swept roof and a central axial stack. The square-headed openings include Gothick casement lights, with three lights in bays one and three, and two lights in the central bay, all featuring lattice leaded lights in bays one and three. The left side of the cottage has a two-light Gothick window set in a former pointed doorway. There is a thatched wing extending to the rear right, which has an end stack that matches the main structure, along with a further extension within the angle.
