Description
Lodge Cottage, built around 1870, is a two-storey structure with an L-shaped plan. It features red brick dentil cornices and gable end chimney stacks with two square shafts set diagonally on a plain base. The roof is plaintiled, accented with bands of fish scale tiles. On the left side, there is a triangular single-storey bay topped with a conical roof of fish scale tiles, which includes two small-paned windows with rounded heads. On the right side, there is a single-storey canted bay with a tripartite roof of fish scale tiles and three small-paned windows with rounded heads. The upper storey has four paired windows that match those below, with a small gablet featuring a slit opening above each pair and a blank shield positioned between them. The entrance includes a door with a small gabled porch supported on brackets.
