Description

No 2 and the adjoining house to the south are 17th century buildings with a timber frame and a stucco finish. They feature a steeply pitched roof covered in black glazed pantiles with gable ends. The structures are two storeys high and have three windows, which include later sash windows both with and without glazing bars, as well as a casement window in the centre of the first floor. No 2 has a modern shop window with a perspex fascia sign. There is a carriageway running through the centre of the buildings, revealing exposed joists inside. At the rear of the house to the south, there is a plastered 17th century wing.
