Description

Beech Farm House is a 17th-century farmhouse that has been significantly modernised. It is built of red brick and features a steeply-pitched pantile roof. The house has two storeys and an attic, following a lobby entrance plan. The north facade has five widely-spaced windows, with 20th-century three-light casements that have cambered heads on the ground floor. There are two chimney stacks symmetrically placed along the ridge. A 20th-century brick porch with a stepped gable is located opposite the eastern chimney stack. The gables have crow-stepped designs with moulded brick kneelers, and the crow-steps on the east gable were added during recent modernisation. The attic features casement windows in the gables, and there are two blocked window openings in the west gable. A platband runs at first floor level on the south side.
