Description
The Old Vicarage is a former vicarage built in the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped black-glazed pantile roof. The building stands three storeys tall, with a symmetrical north facade consisting of three bays. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, and there are gauged arches over the openings. The ground floor has tripartite sashes, and the central doorway is framed by a pedimented doorcase supported by square Doric pilasters. The door itself is six-panelled, with the upper two panels glazed. There are two chimney stacks located behind the ridge line, and the east and west walls have blind window openings on the second floor. A later addition includes a one-storey semi-circular bay on the west wall. To the south, there is a double-pile two-storey extension with sashes featuring glazing bars and a doorway topped with a semi-circular fanlight. Additionally, there is a one-storey hipped projection at the southeast corner, which has a catslide lean-to on the east wall.
