Description

14 and 16 Chapel Street are a pair of houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of flint cobble with a front made of gault brick and feature a low-pitched hipped slate roof. The buildings are two storeys tall and have three windows, which are sashes with glazing bars and flat brick arches. The central doorway is round-headed and includes a traceried fanlight above a flush-panelled door, which has 20th-century glazing at the top. The doorway for No. 16 is located at the side. Both houses have brick chimney stacks.
