Description

Billingford Windmill is a grade II* listed tower mill built around 1862, on the site of an earlier post mill that was destroyed in a storm in 1860. This brick structure is circular in plan and consists of five storeys. It features segmental headed window and doorway openings, with doors located on the ground and first floors. The mill's cap, fan, sails, and machinery are all complete and in working order. It ceased operations in 1956 and was the last mill to operate by wind in Norfolk.
