Description
Billingford Hall is a late 18th century to early 19th century house that has a 17th century section at the rear. The south front features a red brick facade with a low-pitched, slated half-hipped roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, with sash windows that include glazing bars and flat rubbed brick arches. The central doorway is framed by a reeded architrave doorcase topped with a cornice, and it has panelled reveals, a rectangular traceried fanlight, and a panelled door. The north wing, which dates back to the 17th century, is constructed of plastered timber-frame and has a steep pantile roof with gabled ends. This wing also has two storeys and an attic, and it features a central brick chimney stack with lozenge-shaped shafts.
