Description

The forecourt walls at Kirstead Hall are garden walls dating from the 17th century and later. They are constructed of brick in both English bond and garden wall bond. The walls stand approximately 2 meters high and extend south from the southwest and southeast corners of the Hall for about 15 meters. The eastern wall has been incorporated into a 19th-century farm building, and it continues at the same height for an additional 20 meters in garden wall bond.
