Description

St Margaret's is a house located on Eaton Street, built in the mid-18th century. It features painted brick construction and a hipped pantile roof, with two red brick chimneys. The building has two storeys and an attic, with three symmetrical first-floor windows. The front door consists of six raised and fielded panels, a plain overlight, and panelled reveals that are flanked by rusticated pilasters. Above the door is a keyed lintel under a pediment. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, set beneath flat gauged brick arches. The central first-floor window has a flattened segmental head in a Gibbs surround. There is a bracket cornice, and a slightly cambered dormer that contains 20th-century casements.
