Description
The Cellar House Public House is a building that was originally a house, dating from the early 19th century. It features a rusticated exterior with quoins and a rendered plinth, topped by a slate roof. The building has rendered chimneys, including one gable end stack on the left and one ridge stack. It stands three storeys tall and has three first-floor windows.
To the left of the centre, there is a half-glazed door that has a 20th-century panelled surround with a simple hood supported by brackets. The ground and first-floor windows are large-paned sashes with horns, while the second floor has casement windows, all set beneath rendered lintels. The right gable is adorned with decorative bargeboards and a finial. There are steps leading up to a 20th-century side entry on the right, which features a glazed porch. Additionally, there is a 20th-century single-storey flat-roofed extension to the left.
