Description
A pair of houses on Eaton Street, dating to the 17th century. The houses are constructed primarily of flint rubble with red brick detailing; the right gable reveals timberwork, while the left gable is weatherboarded. The roofs are thatched, with a central brick ridge chimney that has been rebuilt. Originally a six-window arrangement, the houses are now single-storey with an attic. 20th-century glazed doors are positioned off-centre in each unit, flanked by casement windows set beneath cambered brick arches. The outlines of wider first-floor windows are visible where they have been blocked. Two central eyebrow dormers are present in the attic. A 20th-century brick buttress is located on the left side.
