Description

64 Bethel Street is a former house that has been converted into an office. It dates from the 17th century, with alterations and additions from the 18th and 20th centuries. The building is rendered and covered with black pantiles. It has two storeys plus a semi-basement and features five bays. The central door is framed by an eared, panelled surround with consoles and a pediment, accessed by five steps. The ground floor has large 20th-century mullion and transom windows with a dripmould, while the first floor has sash windows with glazing bars and a simply moulded surround. There is an iron-work balcony on the central window. The building also has rusticated quoins and a paired bracket cornice, topped with a hipped roof.
