Description
Nos. 50 and 52 on St. Giles Street are former buildings of unknown use, now serving as shops. They date from the 18th century and were renovated in the 20th century. The exterior is rendered and features rusticated quoins and flat bands at the floor levels. The building stands three storeys high and has eight bays. There are doors on both the left and right sides, each with a semi-circular fanlight that has radial glazing bars, a plain surround, and a small flat hood supported by consoles. Sash windows with glazing bars and raised, moulded stucco surrounds are present throughout, with one blocked window located on the top floor, on the right-hand side. The roof is not visible.
