Description

Turret Cottage is a former house, now used as an office, dating from the early 19th century. It features a red brick exterior that has been painted on the west facade and has a pantile roof. The building occupies a corner site and consists of three storeys plus a semi-basement, with a single bay. The entrance is located in the west elevation and includes a door topped by a semi-circular fanlight and a wrought-iron trellis-work porch. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are set beneath rubbed brick flat arches on the Bethel Street elevation. A fascia cornice completes the architectural detailing.
