Description

No. 55 on St. Giles Street is an early 19th-century house built of red brick with a slate roof. The building stands three storeys high and features three bays separated by flat pilasters. The central entrance has a door flanked by fluted pilasters and topped with a rectangular fanlight, along with a triglyph frieze. Sash windows with glazing bars and rubbed brick flat arches are present throughout, and there is a central blind window on the first floor. The house is finished with a flat bracket cornice.
