Description
6 and 8 Timberhill is a building from the early 19th century, originally used for an unknown purpose and now functioning as a shop. It is constructed of painted brick with a gable made of fletton bricks and features timber shop fronts and a pantiled roof. The building is two storeys high and has three first-floor sash windows, each with four lights and horns. There is a central doorcase that has been blocked and glazed, with a hood supported by ornate console brackets. Each side of the building has a 19th-century shop front; the left side has a timber surround with a simple design and console brackets, featuring a window with four lights above and a single light below. The right side has a similar surround, but with a window that has three lights above and one below.
