Description
This listing covers three shops at 136, 138, and 140 Magdalen Street. The buildings date from the early 19th century. Number 136 is constructed of red brick, while numbers 138 and 140 have a rendered exterior. They all have pantile roofs. The buildings are three storeys high, with four widely-spaced windows on the second floor. They have simple shopfronts, each with a wide architrave. A carriage entry is located off-centre to the left. Sash windows are found throughout, with segmental arches above them. The windows in number 140 have been replaced in the 20th century.
