Description

The Cat and Fiddle Public House is a late 18th-century building with a 17th-century rear range and 19th-century rear additions. It is constructed of red brick with a pantile roof. The building is three storeys high and has three bays. The south-east corner has been rebuilt diagonally and features brick quoins. A central entrance is marked by a semi-circular arch and a fanlight with glazing bars. The ground floor has sash windows with side lights and segmental arches. The first-floor windows are also sash windows; those in the outer bays have glazing bars and side lights. Casement windows are set beneath a bracket cornice. The south side of the roof is hipped.
