Description
The Nags Head is a public house located on King Street, originally built as two houses in the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th and 20th centuries. The building features painted brick and plain tiles and stands two storeys high, with seven windows on the first floor. There are entrances on both the left and right sides; the left has a single-storey bay with a pagoda roof, while the right has a pedimented door. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, except for the lower sashes on the ground floor. On the first floor, there are two 17th-century mullion and transom windows. The building also has a fascia at the first floor and a projecting pub sign, along with four dormers that have segmental roofs and a mansard roof.
